I spent the first half of my career in-house — running paid acquisition at a series of B2B SaaS companies from early-stage to post-Series-B. By the time I left, I'd spent enough hours inside Google Ads to know which features actually move CAC for SaaS and which ones are Google's product team trying to push spend.

I run Two Spouts because SaaS is the only Google-Ads category where the unit economics are good enough to justify what the platform genuinely costs — and the only category where the conversion path is complex enough that most generalist agencies actively destroy value. Audit 200 accounts and you stop being surprised: same broken tracking, same broad-match leakage, same one-event conversion stacking. The pattern is the playbook.

How I work

The shape of every engagement.

Most of these are deliberately the opposite of how generalist agencies are structured — that's the whole point.

  • No rotating juniors.

    Whoever you message is whoever runs your account. There is no senior strategist who handed you off to a junior who handed you off to an offshore contractor by day 60. The person who would do the work is the person who picks up.

  • Month-to-month, written 30-day notice.

    Annual contracts protect the agency, not the client. If the work isn’t delivering, you shouldn’t be locked into paying for it. I deliberately price for the work, not for tenure.

  • No ad-spend markup. Ever.

    You pay Google directly with your own credit card. I never touch your media budget and never take a percentage of it. The monthly retainer is the only thing you pay me — incentive alignment matters.

  • Defensible metrics, not vanity ones.

    Every monthly report leads with blended CAC, payback period, and ARR added attributable to paid. Impressions, CTR, and quality score are diagnostic — they’re inside the report when they explain a movement, never the lead.

  • I show my work.

    Every recommendation comes with the underlying data, the search-term report or the cohort analysis it was derived from. You shouldn’t have to take my word for it — that’s how three-year retainers happen on broken accounts.
